Clashing Brutalism and retro: the Typebar website

Building our website. We wanted our website to reflect our brand - quirky, fresh, modern, yet grounded in experience and expertise.

The User Experience (UX)

Significant research was carried out pre-design. Visitor habits, navigation, UX, target market research – what information visitors want to see and how they prefer it to be presented – and web design trends/latest style and functionality developments. Thorough testing was undertaken post-build, including asking test users to feedback on their experience of the site.

Style Influences

Brutalist, gothic, retro. We wanted the website to be fun and engaging; one that held visitors’ attention.

The Result

Our website redesign has achieved a significant increase in visitors, attracted new clients who’ve asked us to build their own website, and we’ve been thrilled to receive great feedback from those we know and those we don’t.

We’re delighted with the result and hope you find it as fun as we do to navigate.
